Why you should off-board former users immediately

Why should you off-board users as soon as they are no longer with your organization?

This is a very important process that helps keep your company assets secure from unauthorized access.

It also ensures that you have access to business information which will save your organization time and money.

The first thing you’ll do is disable the former user’s accounts and let the IT team know when the user will no longer be with your organization so your IT team will be ready.

If you don’t disable the account immediately, chances are it will be forgotten about which would lead to security issues.

Once the former user’s account is disabled, you’ll want to have their files and emails transferred to a shared mailbox so that you’ll still have access.
